Newstipikor | Jakarta, Representative of the Presidential Staff Office, Danny Amrul, attended the Ijtihad Pemuda Islam Organization of Islamic Cooperation Youth Indonesia as well as opened the online event with the theme “Resolution of the National Level Islamic OKP for the World”.
The event which was attended by 30 national level Islamic OKPs took place in a hybrid manner with some participants attending offline and some others attending online through the Zoom Meeting. In this activity, 30 OKP representatives who were present were represented by the two best people from each OKP, one person was present offline and one person was present virtually. In the opening of Ijtihad Pemuda Islam, Syafi’i Effendi, President of OIC Youth Indonesia conveyed the importance of the role of youth and the need for collaboration between Islamic OKPs to be able to realize the progress of Islam. Regarding OIC Youth Indonesia, Syafi’i explained, “Through the presence of OIC Youth Indonesia, we hope to openly collaborate with every Islamic OKP to create youths with Muslim-activist, Muslim-intellectual and Muslim-entrepreneur characters”.
Apart from being attended by 30 OKP representatives, the Ijtihad Pemuda Islam was also attended by representatives of the Presidential Staff Office (Danny Amrul), the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Asrorun Ni’am Sholeh) and the Ministry of Religion (Nifasri). Not only attending this event, Danny Amrul as a representative of the Presidential Staff Office also directly opened this activity online. Representing the State Palace, Danny Amrul in his speech, said, “KSP together with President Joko Widodo awaits the outcome of the Ijtihad Pemuda Islam and is ready to accommodate the resolutions of the Indonesian Islamic OKP which will be formulated in this event.
At this Ijtihad Pemuda Islam event, 30 Islamic OKP representatives who attended conveyed their views regarding youth and its role in the international world. The overall views of each Islamic OKP will then be formulated in the form of a booklet of the National Level Islamic OKP Resolution for the World.
